Enterprise-grade security and compliance.

FAQ

We are SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified and GDPR-compliant. We also provide Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) for enterprise customers.

Yes. Rabbit is an enterprise-grade platform certified under SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 standards. Our team is happy to support your security and compliance review process by providing the necessary documentation and completing your organization's security or compliance questionnaires if required.

Your data is hosted in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data centers. Customers can choose their preferred data residency region — including options within the US, EU, or APAC — to meet organizational or compliance requirements. Access to customer data is strictly limited to authorized personnel and governed by robust security and access control policies.

Rabbit integrates natively with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) APIs and environments — no agent installation is required. When you subscribe, Rabbit automatically provisions a dedicated GCP project in your selected region, along with a unique service account for your organization in a single-tenant architecture.
Rabbit also generates gcloud or Terraform commands that you can use to grant the required permissions to Rabbit's service account. The integration requires only read-only access to specific GCP billing and usage metadata. Rabbit never accesses or views any customer data stored in your GCP environment — it only analyzes metadata related to your cloud usage and costs.

Rabbit requires a custom role with a predefined set of permissions to operate effectively while adhering to the principle of least privilege. A detailed list of the required permissions can be found here  . Rabbit's subscription site will also supply a Terraform or gcloud script to streamline the process of creating and assigning this custom role to the designated Rabbit service account.
In addition to the custom role, Rabbit requires the BigQuery Data Viewer role to access the detailed usage cost data and pricing data stored in BigQuery billing exports dataset.

Rabbit requires access to a limited set of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data sources in order to deliver accurate cost analysis and optimization insights. Specifically, Rabbit connects to:
  • Billing Export – to display and calculate resource costs, including any custom pricing agreements.
  • Cloud Asset Inventory – to identify and list all resources across your environment.
  • BigQuery Information Schema – to perform detailed analysis of BigQuery usage and query efficiency.
  • Monitoring Metrics View – to monitor resource utilization and performance trends.
  • Projects and Folders Metadata – to reflect your GCP project and folder hierarchy within Rabbit for filtering, reporting, and access control.
Rabbit accesses only metadata and usage information — never customer data or content — ensuring your environment's security and privacy at all times.

Rabbit ensures data isolation by creating a separate GCP environment and service account for each customer. This design prevents any cross-customer data access.

The user who completes the subscription process will automatically receive initial access to the Rabbit application once the setup is complete. This user will be the Domain Administrator and can then onboard additional users and manage permissions within the organization.
Rabbit provides a role-based access control (RBAC) system, allowing administrators to assign roles and permissions, restrict access to specific folders or projects, and integrate with Google Groups for streamlined user management.

Rabbit is primarily offered as a SaaS solution, since it doesn't access customer data — only metadata related to how Google Cloud is used. This makes the SaaS deployment the simplest and most efficient option for most organizations.
However, for highly regulated and large enterprise customers, Rabbit also supports a self-hosted deployment within the customer's own GCP environment. If you're interested in this option, please contact our team to discuss requirements and deployment details.

During the free trial, all Rabbit features are fully available to help you explore the platform's capabilities.
Throughout the proof-of-concept (POC) phase, the Rabbit team can actively collaborate with your organization to ensure you get the most value from the product. When relevant to your use case, our product team is also happy to provide early access to beta features to support deeper evaluation.

Each enterprise customer is assigned a dedicated Customer Success Manager for tailored onboarding and ongoing support.

Yes. We provide a standard DPA and can accommodate reasonable contract amendments during procurement.

We offer onboarding workshops and training for admins and users, both live and on-demand.

Yes. Rabbit is available on the Google Cloud Marketplace, allowing you to seamlessly purchase and deploy it through your existing GCP account. The cost of Rabbit can be consolidated into your Google Cloud billing, simplifying procurement and invoicing.

At the end of the free trial period, the Rabbit Customer Success Team will review the results with you and prepare an ROI summary to support your internal purchasing decision.
There is no immediate interruption of service when the trial expires. If your organization needs additional time to complete internal evaluations or approvals, the Rabbit team can extend the trial period upon request.
Once you decide to move forward, Rabbit can be purchased directly through the Google Cloud Marketplace. If you choose not to continue, Rabbit access will be deactivated, and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 15 days in accordance with our data retention policy.
